Mental Health Outreach Engagement Officer

Salem joined SMEF in 2021 to help people black and minoritised ethnic groups with lived mental health or care experiences to develop services to meet their needs. and lesson the stigma among BAME communities.

Salem has experience of supporting vulnerable adults with mental health problems , challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and individuals recovering from substance/alcohol misuse and other complex needs.

He is interested in meeting individuals or families experiencing, or with experience of, the challenges around mental health or learning disabilities within BAME communities in Surrey.
