Sunil Amar (Co-Treasurer)

Sunil is an experienced finance professional. He has served at senior leadership positions at global investment banks including UBS and Credit Suisse. He brings extensive knowledge across corporate finance, accounting, wealth management, venture capital and real estate.

Sunil is a team player with excellent communication skills. He has a natural ability to quickly build trust and relationship with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. He  has led several organisation culture change management programmes throughout his career.

Sunil continues to serve the financial needs of corporates and high net worth clients. He is motivated by the desire to improve the lives of ethnic minority communities and and achieve greater social value. He has an acute interest in the charity sector especially on race equality matters and minority rights advocacy. He has been successfully fund raised for charities across the UK and India notably Marie Curie Foundation, Concern for Mental Health, Women’s India Association  and Pratham UK, He has the skills and experience to help SMEF meet it’s charitable objectives and become a more resilient organisation.

Sunil is the President of prestigious Kensington Cricket Club, member of Indian Gymkhana Club and The Delhi Golf Club.

Sunil is married with three children and lives in London.
