Suzanne Akram has led Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum since its inception and has previously worked for both generic and specialist infrastructure organisations. She successfully set up a BME Network in the London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. In 2005 Suzanne took time off work to complete an MA in Arts Policy and Management. She is passionate about social justice and women’s issues and has served on the Board of Wandsworth Women’s Aid for many years.
