SMEF
Surrey Faith Links seeks to build good relationships between Faith organisations and other sectors, particularly local authorities, public services and voluntary and community groups so that together they may better serve the people and places of Surrey.
About
The Surrey Faith Links Project began in November 2009 and is now managed by Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum. The Project endeavours to engage faith communities with the wider community and the third sector at large.
We are very keen to touch base with all faith organisations and individuals across the County. One of our aims is to produce a valuable database which represents all the faith organisations across Surrey. If you are a member of a faith community, regardless of size, we would love to hear from you and add you to the database.
We send out information to faith organisations from a variety of sources, ranging from public bodies, interfaith groups, and individual faith communities about funding, faith events and influencing opportunities.
The Surrey Faith Links Project is working hard to engage local Boroughs and Districts with their faith communities. So far faith events have been held by the following boroughs: Mole Valley, Epsom & Ewell, Guildford, Woking, Elmbridge, Surrey Heath, Spelthorne and Tandridge.
